There’s nothing worse than a long, boring, stale ceremony that doesn’t fit your vibe as a couple and has your friends and family just hoping for it to end as soon as possible. The self proclaimed “Funny Officiant” Nathan Grieve is a licensed, inclusive, professional Wedding Officiant with many years of experience in the wedding industry as an emcee and celebrant. He will use his “quick witted humour”, “old lady squish his chubby cheeks charm” and what his mom calls his “sparkling personality” to help make your wedding ceremony EXACTLY what you want it to be.

Practice? We’re talkin’ bout practice? Some couples want to just wing it and hope for the best, while others want to have every moment practiced and prepared. If your venue allows for a rehearsal and you want to be prepared, I’d love to be there to run it for you and go over all of the transitions, timings and do’s & don’ts for your wedding ceremony.

Legal Signings

This is a short ceremony (usually between 5 to 10 minutes) focused solely on signing the papers and getting you legally married. Typically it’s just about the paperwork and making it legal in the eyes of the Ontario government, and not about any fanfare surrounding the day. It can be done in your home, a coffee shop, a park or wherever your heart so desires (within reason of course)

Full Ceremonies

Traditional wedding ceremonies are perfect for the classic couple who want a more conventional celebration. The welcome, the exchange of vows and rings, signing the registry and then the smooch, you can make it as traditional as you like, fun or romantic, religious or non-religious, whatever you can dream up, I can make that happen.

The process leading up to the wedding was straight forward and easy. There were many options and opportunities for customization in the ceremony script.
